Another Celtic Snippet from The Bear:  this time some unusual half-time entertainment . . .

The Celtic Football Club has arranged for a couple of races between Fish Stuart, the champion skater of the world, and J. Jackson of Lincoln, to take place on Saturday first at Celtic Park at half-time, during the League match between the Celtic and Clyde clubs.  Stuart has recently been testing on the road a new pair of road skates patented by Messrs R. Anderson and Sons, fishing rod and tackle manufacturers, Edinburgh, and is perfectly delighted with the result.  The body of the skate is said to resemble the ordinary Acme skate, with a fork protecting in front and in rear, carrying to miniature cycle wheels.
