Unfortunately none of the competition entrants guessed correctly. The question posed was:
Which former Celtic star recorded a message for Sean Fallon’s 80th birthday celebrations in which he said: “Thank you for all the help and guidance you gave me. If it wasn’t for you bringing me to Celtic Park, I don’t know what would have happened to me”?
The answer was The Maestro himself, Paul McStay. Most people who entered went for Kenny Dalglish and then Danny McGrain. Sean was responsible for signing both Paul and Willie McStay. His last signing for the club was Pat Bonner.
So, we’ve come up with a new question which we think is a bit easier. Time will tell!
When Sean Fallon was manager of Dumbarton, which football legend did he try to sign for The Sons?
