A banner for the association of CSCs in the New York area including Bronx, Yonkers, Connecticut, Kearny, Manhattan and Woodside.
On display at the commemoration event in honour of famous Celtic goalkeeper Charlie Shaw at his graveside in New Jersey, April 2013.
A wonderful tribute display by the Green Brigade in memory of Oscar Knox, a little Belfast bhoy who stole the hearts of thousands of Celtic fans and many more people across Ireland and beyond in his fight against the cancer neuroblastoma which claimed his life last week. Oscar was remembered in a stadium-wide tribute before Sunday’s game against Dundee United and by first goalscorer Anthony Stokes also who held up a t-shirt with Oscar’s image on it.
Here is a link to Oscar proving the star of the show (as always!) from January last year on the The Nolan Show when he met the portly presenter and his parents talked in detail about their son and their family’s ordeal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrezmVBCsVo
God Bless Him and his family. He truly showed the courage of a champion.
The Ryan family produced this banner to commemorate their visit to Lisbon to see the Celts play Benfica back in 2006. In the picture there is Keith, Michael, Kevin and Perry Ryan. Any other family banner pics gratefully received! Please email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
