The unbounded joy of an Efe Ambrose goal celebration is not new in The Celtic Story. The club’s first captain, James Kelly, an infrequent scorer like the Nigerian, often did triple somersaults to celebrate vital goals according to the authoritative ‘Alphabet Of The Celts’.
Whether Jimmy was still celebrating this way as a Director in his 60s is not known . . . no doubt his po-faced great-nephew Michael Kelly wouldn’t agree with such extravagant behaviour.
