One of the greatest and most popular Celts ever, Cleland bhoy Jimmy Delaney was also one of the most talented ball players ever to don the Hoops.

Jimmy famously won cup winners medals in three different countries in three different decades.

In fulfilment of his life-long wish, the Hoops were placed on his coffin as it was lowered to the grave in 1989.

Art of the Celts 2 - Glasgow Celtic, 50 Years Ago

A vivid and unusual painting of the Celtic team from which did the League and Cup Double in 1954 by the artist Roy Young Ferguson (1907 – 1981).

The painting is believed to depict the following players who formed the team which won the Scottish Cup v Aberdeen on 24th April 1954.
